Why does your excavation site need dewatering?
If you are planning to excavate in an area that has a high water table or is saturated from excessive rain our well point de-watering services may be the right choice for you. Excavating saturated soil can pose a number of issues the most important is safety. In Florida a vast majority of our soil is classified as type C according to OSHA meaning it is the most unstable soil class. When excavating saturated soil it greatly increases the risk of a cave in putting yourself and workers at risk. Furthermore when backfilling with saturated dirt it can prevent proper compaction which can compromise the area you are working in.
